About the Book:About the Author: Ana Y. Ramos-Zayas is an assistant professor of anthropology and Puerto Rican and Hispanic Caribbean studies at Rutgers University. She is the coauthor of a forthcoming book on the racialization and the politics of citizenship between Mexicans and Puerto Ricans in Chicago. Her current research is on the politics of space and citizenship between Brazilians and Puerto Ricans in Newark.
