Free From the Yoke is a game of politicalintruigue and low-fantasy adventure in a
world inspired by Eastern Europeanhistory and mythology.Each game begins with a play groupworking through the story of theirrevolution against an occupying empire,and the Arbiter who lead the revolutionand now rules the new nation. ThisArbiter – controlled by the GM – acts asan antagonist for the campaign, a rulerfor the factions the players control toappease, manipulate, keep at bay andeven rise up in revolt against.
